I dont want to sound bad, but Leafs would give you Ceci for cheaper and shorter contract than Risto for similar ****ty impact.

in my opinion Risto has a better potential to be a good d man. He’s done it before. Ceci is just flat out Garbo tho

Montreal says no to that deal. Yamamoto and Bear are the only things of interest there and I dont think MTL would give up a 1st or Romanov for either so getting Romonaov and a 1st for them and scrapes isnt happening.

You know things are bad when Maroon -as good as he is- is your first line winger.

I'm intrigued by Fix-Wolansky but right now Romanov's stock is as high as it ever been so I don't think that package gets the deal done. From a marketing/PR perspective you cannot trade one of the fan favorite (Already yes) prospect and give your first round pick at a home draft and not get any stud back.

That’s actaully a fair point about the pic and Romanov. Forgot the draft was in Montreal. I meant to make the 2nd round pick in 2020 instead of 2022. Because it’ll be a high second round pick around 35-40 and the Montreal first pick will be 15-24 so I just thought that’d make sense. Thanks for the feedback!
