Koneckny is a stud...I dont think this is a good deal for Philly at all. They are stacked on young dmen

Asplund had 41 points in 75 games in the AHL, during his rookie season and first year in North America.

I'm not adding him to a Ristolainen trade...plus he's a center, which we don't have a lot of.

And Botterill isn't trading Sheary for a 3rd round pick...he loves Sheary, he's good scoring depth, and he's versatile (LW and RW, which we need).

We don't have a lot of centers? Next year we will have 3 top 10 picks playing center. We can afford to lose Sheary based on the wingers on the team.
