I would like too see option on contract both for players and for teams! With guaranteed money for players but if they doesn’t play as
Good as they should they couldn’t be buyout by the team with less consequence.

There a exemple: lucic contract 7years /42 with opt out after 5 years 6 millions avv but of the 42 millions 32 are guaranteed. So its basically a 5 years 32 millions contract but with option for 2 more year.

Finished contract after 5 season edmonton could buy him out but would own him just 1 year left so 2 or three years instead of paying him for 5-to 8 year on a 3 years buyout
