Thing is that we don't have a D who can cover all Silfverberg's value so it would have to be -pick(s) -prospect F/D

I think it would be somebody like Carlo or Pulock. A solid #2 RD. Or a guy on the cusp of #2-#3 RD plus a high pick. (I know you saw my Silfverberg and a third for Mayfield and a first.). Nick Jensen and Dylan Demelo come to mind. Silf is closer to Pesce than Faulk, but Carolina isn't trading the former and we don't want the latter. Rasmus Andersson would be nice, but Calgary isn't trading him, either.

Yeah, but they were also dead last in goals last year, trading out Silf and getting a d man back would certainly help, but would make the offense much worse which they can't really afford rn

We're not moving Carlo (and it's overpaid then). But Miller and a pick wouldn't be bad

Since it looks to me like you're talking about Boston, Silfverberg would be the perfect RW for Krejci. He had 24-19=43 points on a terribly coached and offensively-challenged team last season; compare him to Charlie Coyle and anyone else on your squad.

He would be worth Carlo. Note how cheap he is compared to other top-6 forwards; even if you restrict it to wingers, he's a steal financially.

No. Silfverberg is a good two-way player, can play both wings (more RW and that's where we would need him) and produces 35-45 pts. But Carlo is too important for us. He's probably a top10 shutdown Din year of two. He's already very good and was a key player in our Cup run.

Ready to give other prospects/picks tho
