Bean doesn't need to play this year, he was a rookie pro last year, give him another year in Charlotte, then you have Forsling as the 7th. If Williams doesn't return AS A PLAYER, he'll be back as a coach so the C would probably go to Staal from there. Necas is the only RH forward yes, but Williams was the only RH forward last year too. No one is touching Reimer at this point, if he plays REALLY well and starts to establish himself as a good goaltender again, then maybe, but right now no one will touch him

Bean isn't. Defencemen and power forwards take longer to develop. With the log jam you have give him one more year in Charlotte, let him continue to work on his defensive game and his skating, then if he looks ready after next year, you move someone like Haydn and give Bean the spot

Yeah, for a combination of reasons
1) He came up last year and didn't look right, he looked missplaced. He needs more time to develop
2) There's already a log jam on the blue line, why would you rush him into that log jam?
3) In comparison to the guy he's fighting for the spot with, Haydn Fleury, Haydn looks a different class of player in comparison to Jake, I watched them during the calder cup run and Fleury looked like an NHL player whereas Jake looked like a top end AHL player.

All in all I think Bean stays in Charlotte and Fleury gets the spot, at least to start, if Fleury doesn't do well, I can see bean getting the spot, but I think it's Fleury's to lose right now
