We can replace Johansson internally. Also, the most important is that we won't have 3-4+ injured players every game so. Who knows what would've happened if TOR & TBL lost every player at least once last year.

Philly had 3 issues for most of last year, all 3 have been addressed; Defense depth, 2C, and a consistently strong goalie. Sure Hayes was overpaid but they have the cap space and have one of the best line ups on paper

Also i said they have a higher chance of 2nd then last, not that they will get 2nd

I'd argue their defense got weaker with those terrible trades this offseason. I also think they have better options for 2nd line C on the team than Hayes and Hayes will end up being a really expensive 3rd line C. But finally having a good goalie will get them into the playoffs

I don't think you realize how good the Flyers could be if Provorov and Ghost have a bounce back season and Hart plays the way he did this year. Hayes is a better option than Patrick for 2C right now and even if they switch spots Hayes will be playing with either Lindblom or JVR and most likely one of Frost or Farabee.
