ROUND 1 | TEAM | ORIGINAL | PLAYER | DETAILS |
---|
| Morgan Rielly (-1 ) | mobile dman with great offensive insticts make him the best player to come from this class as of right now. 77 points last season says everything you need to know. Very underated defensively as well. | ||
| - | Jaccob Slavin (-2 ) | absolute beast on a ridicoulus good contract.Top 10 dman in the league for sure. | |
| - | Matt Dumba (-3 ) | These next two picks are very close to each other but IMO Dumba edges out Paryako by the slimmest of margins. his offensive capabilities makes him extremely versatile and he is pretty solid defensively. | |
| - | Colton Parayko (-4 ) | is better than dumba defensively. a true number one shut down dman and with a little more attention to his offensive game, could be a top 10 dman in the league. | |
| - | Andrei Vasilevskiy (-5 ) | Has turned into an amazing goalie and one of if not the most athletic goalie this league has ever seen. | |
| - | Filip Forsberg (-6 ) | has been very, very consistent over the years in Nashville. A top line winger with an abudance of skill that I think he still has more to show in those aspects. | |
| - | Tomas Hertl (-7 ) | very strong power forward who broke out this year and showed that he has the potential to be San Jose's 1C in the future. | |
| Connor Hellebuyck (-8 ) | out of the three standout goalies left from this class after hard thought I have decided that Hellebuyck takes the crown here. He was vezina finalist after what was an amazing 2017-18 campaign. He got off to a bit of a rough start this year but really turned it around near the back half of the season. He faced the most shots in the entire league this season and still showed when he's on his game, he's one of the best goalies in the league. Very close to top 5 goalies in my opinion. | ||
| - | Frederik Andersen (-9 ) | Freddy is an amazing goalie and a clear cut starter. He started of this past season REAL hot but then started cooling off as the season went along. | |
| - | Jacob Trouba (-10 ) | Trouba is a good defenceman but is overrated and overpaid in my opinion. The area where he lacks most is his puck moving ability, and his greatest strength is his physical presence. Got 50 points this year with a lot of them coming on one of the best powerplays in the league. | |
| Andreas Athanasiou (-11 ) | the kid put up 30 goals this year with Detroit. Don't sleep on him and his blazing speed. | ||
| - | Teuvo Teräväinen (-12 ) | Teuvo had a great year this past season, him and Aho compliment each other very well. | |
| - | Esa Lindell (-13 ) | a beast in his own end, very underatted player. | |
| Damon Severson (-14 ) | definitely overlooked by some because of the team he's been playing on but he has been improving each year and put up 40 points this year, which is nothing to sneeze at. | ||
| - | Hampus Lindholm (-15 ) | underrated defenceman in Anaheim. Had a bit of a rough season offensively this season but is still very good his own zone. | |
| - | Shayne Gostisbehere (-16 ) | As much as everyone likes to call him out and say he is HORENDOUS defensively, his underlying defensive stats are actually quite respectable if you look at them including stopping zone entries. He also isn't very far removed from an impressive 60 point season. | |
| - | Matt Murray (-17 ) | is a solid starter who's had a couple of disappointing seasons recently. However he helped the penguins to two Stanley cup victories which was a reason I couldn't atleast plug him into this spot. | |
| - | Alex Galchenyuk (-18 ) | the 3rd overall pick in this class never lived up to his true potential, however he has consistently put up at least decent offensive numbers in his career and is a former 30 goal scorer. | |
| Ryan Murray (-19 ) | the 2nd overall pick from this class has been solid. He is all around a pretty decent top 4 defencman. | ||
| - | Brady Skjei (-20 ) | A good defenceman who could use a little work in his own zone but he's been a consistent point producer on the rangers back end. | |
| Josh Anderson (-21 ) | The big and strong power forward on Columbus is a versatile player who just had a breakout season. | ||
| - | Erik Gustafsson (-22 ) | is a big wildcard. He had an out of nowhere season where he put up 60 points but would like to see him improve in his own end and show that his production wasn't a one off before put him ahead of other players. | |
| - | Alexander Kerfoot (-23 ) | the borderline 2/3C put up a respectable 40 points this past season. | |
| - | Tom Wilson (-24 ) | love him or hate him, he is still a solid top 6 winger when he plays within the rules. | |
| - | Colin Miller (-25 ) | a great skating blue-liner that is a very good top 6 dman and an average top 4 dman. | |
| - | Vinnie Hinostroza (-26 ) | Very shifty and skilled player who put up a solid 40 points. | |
| - | Michael Matheson (-27 ) | physical blueliner. | |
| - | Chris Tierney (-28 ) | two way center who had a good 2018-19 season. | |
| - | Nikita Gusev (-29 ) | is a wildcard player who if he is as good he is being hyped up to be I could see him move up a lot spots on this list. | |
| - | Matt Grzelcyk (-30 ) | very good skating defenceman who broke through on the Bruins this year. |
