Description
This is all very real and serious. If it displeases you to read the truth then click "back" now.

On Vanek and Sheahan
Sources close to the situation with Vanek have informed me that he has been offered a PTO with MTL, SJS, and LAK. Vanek is only one year removed from a Hart trophy worthy season and could be the missing piece of the puzzle for MTL to finally win the cup for the first time since 1911. A source close to Vanke whom I met with at Red Robin last week has told me Vanek is in elite shape and is looking to win the Hart this year but he is expecting top dollar from whichever suitor is willing to spend. The same source says he expects around 9 Million on a 1 year deal which is a steal in my mind for a former 3x Rocket Richard trophy winner.

On Sheahan
Sheahan has not been offered a PTO yet as he is enjoying his offseason in his hometown of Riga Latvia, sailing, running a pottery class and cooking at a michelin star restaurant in beautiful downtown Riga. Sheahan is looking to replicate his hobey baker winning season from last year with UND. Teams interested are Toronto, Dallas and Vegas.

On Proorov
I originally reported Proorov was headed to Kazan to play with his lifelong best friend Mitchell Marner but he has since redacted this rumor stating that he is considering a lucrative offer from HK Kurbads of the Optibet Hockey League in Latvia, one of the most exciting leagues in the world at the moment as they have just signed noted star Devante Smith Pelly and rising star Mike Modano to lucrative multi-year deals. Proorov will likely start on the 3rd pairing for Kurbads but could work his way to the second pairing by the playoffs.

On Marner
As per a decent source Marner is enjoying his time in Kazan so far saying that living in the Soviet Union is quite a nice change from the strict, sometimes dangerous life that he struggled through in one of the most totalitarian dictatorships in History known as Canada. He has developed a new favorite food in Kholodets. His old favorite food was FrankenBerry cereal in the harsh, bitter landscapes of Eastern Canada.

You should ask Marner. He’s eaten more of it than anyone else in history E5.
