really don't think the cap will jump that high, but I sure do hope so for the leafs sake

Next year its not going to raise that much but the year after it will

No cap space for Rielly, Sandin or Lil for next year.. and barrie will also get more than that

There has been some suggestion/speculation, that the league is willing to consider a soft cap, something more closely related to the NBA's salary cap structure, but may not exactly mirror it. So, an $87 million salary cap heading into the 2021-22 season may not be THAT unrealistic, even though the Leafs may be required to pay some sort of luxury tax. Also, Adam Larsson will never bring back that return.

Barrie's gone after this year. Would rather bring back Muzzin anyways as he plays a different style than the rest of the D and will cost less, while Barrie is more easily replaced by Sandin and/or Liljegren

I'm afraid Muzzin's game may fall off a cliff as he's already 30 and not the fastest guy. Barrie's game would age better IMO but the price/term probably won't workout

Ya i honestly had no idea what to pencil Larsson in at.
D men are always over paid, and two years from now with the cap rising I felt he'd get pay bump from hes 4.16 currently as a UFA
