I don't think so, hasn't had many concussion, or problem injuries. Just bad luck, sprained ankles and broken bones happen when you are unlucky. Tanev could play a full season and it wouldn't surprise me, although I do think Vancouvers sports science department is lacking and that could lead to more injuries.

Seems like a good deadline deal if the Canucks are out of a playoff spot, Ceci hasn't played well, and Tanev is healthy. Probably an overpay though for a deadline rental, maybe drop the 2nd to a 4th if this happens at the deadline?

He just doesn't have a place in TO unless Marner leaves. He's not half as good as Nylander or Marner so he just won't get a chance unless Kapanen is moved.

Kapanen could move to the left wing, so could Nylander. They could also run essentially three #1 lines with Nylander in the middle.
I like the idea of Tanev but the pricetag is questionable. Anything more than half a season from him is a bonus.
