- Im a huge Spurgeon too fan but gave wayyyy too much? Brodin is solid but idk if im crazy about him.
- No JPG, HE IS OVER-RATED!! Plus he has been injured 75% of time last 2 yrs... Bjugstad is a very good playa, playa
- Dumo is worth 10 Carter's

Dumo is on the pens best contract and is the best defensiveman....why would you trade him, let alone for that?

He's nowhere near as good as their offensivemans.

pit/min deal is way too many moving parts to properly evaluate. gudbranson and spurgeon are real pieces, selling johnson, some random prospects, five picks moving...way too many assets to make an armchair evaluation.

you really have to trust juolevi to be what he looked like in a very small sample size in the AHL to warrant sending a 25-point, 23-year-old defenseman who provided positive value and can take a defensive workload the other way.

it would probably cost you bjugstad+hornqvist just to get talks for tierney started, much less him and JGP. bjugstad and JGP are very similar on stats, age, contract. so you're really talking hornqvist, 33yo, 5.3x4, 25 goals 40-ish points as equivalent value for tierney, 25yo, 3x1, 10-ish goals 50 points. tierney is easily the most valuable piece in this entire deal and i can't imagine the sens would take it without a high pick going their way as well.

i don't think pit can trad dumoulin and petterson. especially since a 2m deal for gardiner is...unlikely. that's the nice way of saying "never going to happen", right? the only d-man you're getting on the open market under 2m is dion phaneuf. that said, dumoulin for carter is surprisingly possible from LA's position if they're LA is planning to suck **** again next season. carter could still put up points if he didn't play on the lowest scoring team in the NHL, and dumoulin both isn't old yet and would be a good replacement for phaneuf and a fringe long-term option when doughty starts his decline.

Guddy+ JJ+ Jarry+the second=the 7th, Addison+1 the first does not= Brodin Spurgeon and some picks, VAN thanks you and hangs up before you realize what you've done, and I'm high on Juolevi OTT and Gardiner both reject immediately, and LAK hangs up even faster than VAN to submit that trade, I don't think I've ever seen an ACGM that goes from so good for the team to terrible for the team and back again as quickly as this, plus I don't think PIT will ever trade away MP Dumo or Addison unless they get an absurd return back

that defense would get shredded. You got 4 guys there who are clueless in their own zone.

Minnesota and Ottawa easily decline.

LA and Vancouver trades are awful for the Penguins.
