Prob Toronto on the first one (because of retention). Chicago wins the other two pretty considerably IMO

Trading a 22 year old for a 30 year old. If its for a 1 year scenario than its closer but since time is an actual thing, its a landslide win for Chicago and would be one of the most shortsighted trades ever.

I actually would rather have DeBrincat over Laine and Toews over Stamkos

Sure Laine has a better Pedigree, whatever that is supposed to mean, but I think that DeBrincat gets to 50 next season, while Laine gets 40.

I think I would hands down rather have Toews over Stamkos, but that’s probably got a lot to do with me being a homer.

Think the Leafs prefer Marner if only for age and potential length of contract (if he ever resigns).
Debrincat,,,who I don't see all that much....geez he might even be better than Laine and cheaper.
The Stamkos trade....very even.

I have no doubt that with the way Kane plays, trains, and competes will help him be a big point producer well into his thirty’s. He likely declines after his current contract, but will still be a useful peace after that.

The other two trades are very interesting though. I think the Jets trade could go either way. And the Toews trade will probably be about even I think.

Kane could very well still be a decent player for the remainder of his contract but a 22 year old coming off a 94 point season is still going to get better. We can say with a high degree of certainty, Kane is not going to get better. So they are close now and if the age consideration, Marner is far more valuable if time matters.

Landslide win? I don’t think so. I’d take Kane over mariner (right now) over mariner. Marnerhasn’t even seen the second round of the playoffs while Kane has 3 rings and is playing his best hockey of his career with no signs of decline.

Stamkos is a choke. He really is. Toews has 3 rings and is one of the best players of all time. So he is no scrub

Totally if you are talking about 1 year. But if you are talking about time meaning things, then it's a bad trade for TO
