Description
Saw this trade on a Blues ACGM and thought it was definitely interesting. Might not be what the Blues want/need in exchange for Fabbri by any means, but interesting nonetheless.

Stephenson either traded or waived.

Not a bad idea on Caps end, I'd only ever considered trading Djoos for a pick but Fabbri is intriguing, and definitely a better option at forward than Stephenson and Boyd

Fabbri for Djoos is probably close to fair - a damaged goods/fresh start trade. But stl will already be carrying 4 LD and possibly 8D, so unless Djoos is waiver exempt, I don't see it as a need.

Fabbri looked good in the playoffs I thought, I know the points weren't there but he looked solid to me.
He's a guy Edmonton should take a flyer on if the ask isn't too high, I really think he'll rebound.

Djoo plays rd also. That’s what he played during the cup run.

I guess this could be assuming STL moves Edmundson for pick(s)?

Sure, but IMO the competition for our LW spots needs to be a focus, and having Fabbri in the mix is ideal based on his skillset (if he can ever get back on track). He could end up grabbing the 2LW spot and then...

Fabbri brings a bunch more offense to the fourth line than Stephenson or Boyd, but the Caps have a ton of offense and they spent big this summer to beef up their PK. Stephenson and Djoos probably help out more short-handed than Fabbri.

Doubt STL would go for that straight up....might have to throw in a pick. But if we got Fabbri I’d probably put him on the third line and drop Hagelin to the fourth

Yeah, good thing with our roster is there’s lots of flexibility internally to shake things up if need be
