These types of signings are never really a bad deal but surprised he signed in Carolina if he is trying to maximize his shot at playing in the NHL.

Do not understand going to Carolina. The deepest right side in the league. Even if they move Faulk and TVR, he's still going to have to fight for the 3RD spot with Mckeown.

Bummed that the Caps couldn't sign him before rights expired, but good signing by the Canes, allows them to move out one of their veteran D for more forward depth

He left the caps to go to a team that didn’t lose round 1 in last years playoffs

Great signing for the Hurricanes.

I don't understand this signing from the player's point of view, though. Any place the sun shines in January (SoCal, Las Vegas, Arizona, Dallas, Florida) needs RD depth and has more room for him in the near future.

Priskie probably just wanted to go to a team that, you know, didn’t suck

Yeah, he had the perennial choice: play all year for a team on the way up, or be an injury replacement and have a season seat to watch the team get halfway through the playoffs.

He could’ve just wanted to play on the east coast and if I were a highly sought after college free agent I wouldn’t wanna play on the Ducks, they’re jerseys r so bad (no offense ducks fans)

He could play #1RD in San Diego this year, he would be virtually guaranteed a spot at #2 or #3 RD on the big club next year, and he could go surfing 12 months of the year.

Don't know why he left his native Florida. We don't have insects like they do there, you know.

P.S. File this away: bet the Ducks go farther in the 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs than the Hurricanes.

Yup. Awesome plan. Kid signs with one of the deepest d pools in the league.

Strong foresight.

For a team that hasn’t won the cup in over a decade? Solid.

Don't know why folks are so concerned about the depth of the RHD on Carolina. TVR is out maybe two months, Faulk only has one year left till UFA. Raleigh and AHL Charlotte are close to Florida home.

Yup, I was also hoping the Caps would get him signed. I don't understand how GMBM couldn't get him signed, if he was even trying to sign him...

It was me. Prisky is a dbag and a major reason why I hate drafting college players. I honestly hope he’s a life time ahl player.... also left Washington to go to Carolina who has better defensive depth

Kid has zero balls. Was afraid he couldn’t beat out sieg or djoo for a roster spot next year.
