This is not going to happen. Nurse isn't this valuable. Especially to Toronto who has a lot of good LHD already.

How many more points did Nurse get last year than Nylander? Even if they didn't need the cap space, Toronto probably takes this, but it kinda wrecks the Oilers' defense, no?

Personally, I think that Evan Bouchard, with his unreal shot and puck-moving abilities, is going to be a game-changer for the Oilers, so I would not be big on that trade.

I think Russell would be okay as a second-pairing LHD, but yeah, if Klefbom gets injured again, I don't see him being a top-pairing LHD. Maybe Toronto would have to throw in Muzzin to make this worthwhile for Edm.

Not sure what you mean. Toronto has plenty of wimpy finesse players but no tough guys like Nurse, that's why it gets destroyed by Boston each time. Plus Nurse scored more than Nylander last year for less than half the cap hit. Nurse is way more valuable than Nylander.

I think that if you substitute pork products (prosciutto for hot dogs), then yes, Nylander is the new Phil Kessel. Think about it. Both fat. Both RWers. Same salary.
