100% yes - Canucks Fan

I'd be happy with just a 3rd.

Definitely. Honka and maybe a 5th and a 7th would maybe even go through.

Vancouver should jump at that. I see Baertschi 10 times per year, and although he's a nice third liner, he's on the down side of his career. As the grizzled veteran Liv Schreiber says in Goon, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Is he really that easy to acquire??? As an Oilers fan I'd definitely give up more than that. Ethan Bear and a 3rd

DAL overpays.

I’m surprised at the response. I see him as someone who can put up 40-maybe50(?) points as a winger who can play with some solid players

He was something of that sort couple of years ago. Now he's more of injury prone 30-40 point winger.

Add that with VAN having a surplus of left wingers, there shouldn't be much to pay for him.

Just out of curiosity, how is Ethan Bear and a third more than Julius Honka, a third and a fifth?

Two years ago he was on pace for 45 points and last year he was on pace for 42 points, but got injured both years. If he stays healthy, I think he's worth Honka; if not, not the third and fifth. I'd say he's too risky.

But I really like the end result you've got there, by the way.

Oh sorry, I wasn't saying that that was necessarily more. Just a starting trade with similar value.

He was on pace for a really solid year. Unfortunately like we’ve been talking about the injured bug hit him. If he can stay healthy there’s some solid potential
