Your obsession with junior hockey as proof of anything is baffling

Littlejeryseinfeld

I think you need to give your head a shake at your comment you made which borders on total incompetece. Alot of elite NHL players were elite junior hockey players before they became elite NHL players. Do me a personal favour and google Mitch Marner awards won in last year of junior hockey for the London Knights and name be one NHL player including Connor McDavid who ever won as many awards in a season as Mitch Marner, the Magician. I am expecting an apology from you tognight.

I would split Taveres and Marner because Marner is a natural center ice man and I think he could help Matthews be a 60 goal scorer in the NHL. Matthews would of course have to be in agreement to the plan to shift to Left Wing. However, I think Matthews has a deep desire the play with Marner because he knows that the Magician could be his set up man similar to Trottier and Bossy in the Islander glory years.

Marner sucked at C even in juniors. Dvorak was his C in London. Marner was amazing in juniors and is great player overall, but he is no elite

Who knows but i don’t see marner as a great nhl center. Too much defensive responsibility. He is the kind of patrick kane that take the puck in transition and open ice for is partner

I agree with very little of what @littlejerryseinfeld says mostly but damn....the most absurd idea.
Just cause a young player plays C a few times in junior doesn't mean he can in the best league in the world.

SMH...

Your response is borderline English at best.. you’re a disaster arguing this point, and then to puff out your chest and demand an apology? You absolute fool. Barely half of the last twenty CHL MVP’s became notable NHL’ers, junior is a much different game than the pros and to put Marner, a guy who was bad at centre in junior on the top line of a team that has Matthews, Tavares is enough for me to question why you have an account on this website. Do us all a favour and just pretend to delete it, make a new one, start fresh, none of us will know.
