NJ doesn't need Miller.

Williams is signing in CAR or retiring. And he'll just slow down the DeBrusk-Krejci duo. We already have Backes...

Contracts for 73/25 aren't bad.

yeah I agree jersey isn't empty back there but theyre trying to get over the hump miller could help. comparing Williams to backes isn't really fair. I agree he seems Carolina or bust but a chance at a cup on the way out might interest him. He still can put up 40 pts 15 goals and keeping up with krejci isn't exactly hard he doesn't play a speed game. sure its unlikely but a cheap vet could help that wing

I don't think a chance to win the cup in Boston would convince him when they went so far in the playoffs. He thinks they'll do it in CAR, especially after decent signings in the offseason
