Suzuki Drouin Juulsen, that's worth 3 1st round pick and you're sayin it's crap

Drouin is a 50 point winger. Laine will be a 50 goal scorer. So forget that swap

Juulsen has played 40 NHL games, he’s not a consistent player, you’re overrating him.

    Suzuki is good but unproven.

Using the first round pick label doesn’t work when Drouin and Juulsen got drafted 5+ years ago and it’s solidified who they are. It doesn’t work that way. I can’t throw senyshyn, Zboril, Jordan Caron and Malcolm subban into a trade and try to sell it as 4 first round picks.

So yes. It’s not a great offer for Laine.

If you want laine, you’re looking at either Caufield or Kotkaniemi along with 2020 first and then build off that.

Laine scored 46 goals as a 19 year old. He’s going to be a dominant goal scorer for the next 10-15 years. One down year (where he still scored 30 goals) doesn’t mean you can get him for a bag of chips and a soda.

Drouin on a down year puts 53 points, he will be a 65+ points winger. Suzuki is better than Scheifele at the same age. Juulsen was supposed to play all season with MTL but he got injured and missed the rest of the season. Now he's 100% healthy and will play all season long.
Laine can ONLY score goal. Caufield will be better than Laine

Drouin on a down year is 53? He’s going into his 6th season and 53 points is his career high.

You know who else could only score early in their career? Ovechkin. Caufield is 5’7”, he can’t physcially do anything that Laine can’t do.

How is Suzuki better at his age than Scheifele was? Scheifele played in the NHL when he was 19. Suzuki is 20 and hasn’t played a game yet. That’s a pretty lazy thing to say.

You can try to sell off these guys all you want but that bottom line is, that doesn’t get you Laine. No way no how.
