I think it’s fair from Boston perspective

If rangers trade kreider they won’t take back extra year of a bad contract they already have cap issue

First, I would swap the years (2-3 for 73/6-7 for Carlo). But that's my opinion.

Then the BOS-NYR trade just doesn't make sense
-Kreider is LW.
-Kreider has one year left on his contract
-NYR have cap problems so they won't take Backes (and Moore)
-Moore is D, they have too much D
-NYR decline as Bjork, 1st is good part of the deal but Backes & Moore just cancel it
-You can't trade Backes in a win-win trade. It's a strict cap move.

-Sweeney is reluctant to move his 1st; shouldn't move Bjork now.
