I would like to state that this is just my opinion and I do not speak for or on behalf of @SammyT_51 however, I believe the point he was trying to make was that some people were offering underwhelming returns for AM34 so he went to the opposite end of the spectrum by trying to make a point (which you proved) that a team would have to overpay to pry Matthews away from TOR. Of course, any player can be traded, but it doesn't make sense for us to move him now as we're trying to compete unless it's an offer we can't refuse which will/would not happen.

Unbelievable Barkov and Huverneau cap combined equals Matthews. Then the Leafs would have 7m to spend not having Nylander.....An easy no from Florida.
