Pager is a great fit in Carolina. That would be a pretty solid pissant 4th line, and Pageau can play an expanded role competantly in case of injuries.

Great idea... WHAT AN OVERPAYMENT. He's gonna be at best a winger on the 3rd line in Carolina, you do not move a 1st round pick for him EVER

I would imagine the highest Carolina would pay for a rental 4th line C is a 2nd round pick. Reminds me of the Brian Boyle and Plekanec trades Toronto made a few years back
