Description

Lets face it he will never play here and Edmonton is now in a hard place where we will not be getting much because of how jesse went about letting everyone in the league know. I really like evans he can play in a top 6 or anywhere in the line. he put up goog numbers in NCAA and in the AHL better than Jesse. I know his pedegree is not as good being picked in the 7th round but I think he is can be a valuable player and is still young. As for peca i dont know why i like the guy i think he has good upside and plays good at the AHL level but is that all he is, an career AHL player? If so do I take him out and add another Pick. No one will give a top prospect after seeing how jesse has played or a first rounder. Also due to Jesse draft position i dont think its out of the realm to ask for a second round pick and MTL should be a high one this year, they might counter with next year or Chicagos. LEt me know how far off you think i am or if you think jesse has more value and why.

You're not that far off IMO.

I'd counter with a 3rd instead of the 2nd. I'm pretty cynical about him ever reaching his potential tbh and given EDM's stalemate I'm not sure I want to give up a good asset for a player who's barely replacement level at this point.

That's my take anyways.

Peca is a fast skater that will find a place in the Edmonton lineup. Evans will be a good 3rd line center. I consider the 2nd being overpaid. Let's go with a 3rd , Peca and Evans or a 2nd and Peca.
