Team: 2019-20 Vegas Golden Knights

Salary Cap Mode: Basic

First Line: Would love to see a blockbuster that sees Pacioretty traded for some big name defenseman and let a prospect step up (as well as allowing for Alex Tuch to play up). But Gallant seems insistent on playing these three together and the insane amount of points they racked up in the 1st round would prove it should be great.

Second Line: Played an excellent part in pushing VGK to the Cup Final last year, but I'm excited to see what they can do as an ideal super second.

Third Line: Would love to see a dual Cody line, and I think Glass will start on the wing, Eakin proving as a great mentor, and Alex Tuch waiting his turn to play in the Top 6.

Fourth Line: Gallant loves Carrier and Reavo, Nosek is the only other one that could play Center. Could see Cody Glass play Fourth Line and have these goons protect him.

Scratches: Brandon Pirri will always be the first to move into the lineup as he's proved he can even play Second Line time as a fill-in, Zykov and Roy will definitely get opportunities.

Defense: McNabb/Schmidt have played a solid top pairing and they probably will start another season as such. Nic Hague has proven himself as a legitimate prospect and playing with Theodore could be excellent for his development. Engelland/Schuldt seemed to be a good pairing in the one game Schuldt played and typical Veteran/Rookie training.

Goalies: Easy situation to call, Fleury will start 55-60 games, Sparks and Subban will probably both get chances as the backup.

CALL-UPS: Jonas Røndbjerg has really impressed the organization and will probably get a chance to play. Tyrell Goulbourne was likely signed as an option in the depth. Bischoff, Coghlan, and Whitecloud will all likely have a chance to play with the potential to take jobs.
