Ya its just a thought. Flames need the cap room. I'm not sure if McCabe is worth a 2nd round pick at this point though, he seems to be injured every season, and could just be walking himself in 2 years as a UFA.

Bogosian will be on LTIR to start the season maybe Hunwick too

So they probably would get enough cap relief with Bogosian being on LTIR. But might not be interested in moving a D man with those injuries, assume that's why they'll probably keep Risto, unless the return is really good.

I like the idea of Frolik. Both the Flames and Sabres are near the cap. The Sabres can get below the cap by sending Hunwick and Sobotka to Rochester with out putting Bogosian on LTIR.
