As a Sabres fan, I agree. I legitimately think Botterill would laugh and hang up on this offer, thinking it's a prank call or something.

If you really want Borgen, I'd just straight up give him to NJD with Okposo for future considerations. Even that is a light payment to get rid of Ox's contract.

I presume this trade is to reduce NJD cap.
Zajac is just what Buffalo needs and to trade away Okposo to get a #2C seems a bit too much in return.
