So for the record, you're predicting the top 10 scorers on the 2019-20 Avalanche will score 38 more points than the top 10 scorers on the 2018-19 Lightning, a team that won 62 games, the most ever in a single season.

lmao Makar getting 70 is unheard of for a rookie defenceman! I would say at best 50 points, and that would be considered an unbelievable rookie season

Burakovsky going to magically double his point totals from the last two seasons?
There have only been two rookie defenseman in league history to get 70+ points but some how Makar will definetly do it lol
Kadri gonna increase his career high by 15 pts

So hard to get points as a rookie dman. That said, I see Makar as good as Dahlin was last year, so replicating those 44 points makes sense.

I disagree. Makar is an elite defensive prospect, at the level of Hesikanen, Chabot, etc. Dahlin coming in was a generational defensive prospect.

I completely agree that Colorado is going to be a top team in the league next year! I never said otherwise, but you can't seriously expect everyone to put up the highest totals of their careers. And I love Makar, but no rookie dman has put up over 50 points in the last 25 years man.... And you have him scoring 70!

St.Louis were actually my dark horse pick, and most of those point totals are still ridiculous regardless of that. MacK and Rants maybe and that may pull Landy up to near the 80-90 points mark. JT and Jost are really the only others that seem realistic to me. If Jost breaks out it could be more and it all depends what line they're on. The rest look pretty unrealistic to me, but I'll be happy if they prove me wrong!

The trade is also bad, and Rantanen really shouldn't be getting that kind of money.
