Possibly the worst trade proposal I've seen this summer.

Include something of actual value from LA going to Toronto.

It would need to include at least one of Kupari, Turcotte, a 2020 1st, or a 2021 1st and at least two of Petersen, Vilardi, JAD, Grundstrom, Kaliyev, Clague, Durzi, or Bjornfot. Then throw in a decent roster player or two to mitigate salary.

Kupari, Cambell, Martinez, 2020 1st Round Pick

Change Campbell to Petersen and they might go for that. Campbell won't stick around Toronto after next season, as they already have their established starter in Andersen.

No way should the Kings do that. That 1st round pick could very well turn into Lafreniere.

If Marner goes to LA, Turcotte will be included in the package going the other way

That's not necessarily true. The Kings' 2020 1st round pick is more valuable than Turcotte IMO. But I would agree that one of the two pieces would be going back to Toronto.

The Kings should absolutely not trade for Marner. He's not worth what they would have to give up to acquire him.

Instead of offering like 2 dimes, a nickel, and a couple pennies for a dollar, maybe even just offer 4 quarters.

I do not disagree but this is theoretical and has been surprisingly interesting as far as posts have gone. Thank you.
