Vancouver accepts. MInnesota accepts. Toronto thinks about your offer of Reimer at 1.7, but after a week or two they decide they like Marner better. If you're paying to give away Reimer, though, Columbus and Colorado each have cap space and rookie backup goalies. One of them can probably work something out.

But in the end you've paid Faulk, Reimer (50% off), and two 2nd round picks for a year of Markstrom. You could probably have almost any goalie for all that.

On the other hand, if Brodin and Faulk are about even, then this whole post simplifies down to Reimer (half off), Tor 1st, two 2nds, all for one year of Jacob Markstrom, a 29 year old with one more twenty-win season than Reimer has. This doesn't strike me as Waddell's style.

I'm pretty high on Bracco, think he's gonna be a stud. Can't forget about him.

Okay, Markstrom is a UFA at the end of the year, I understand the idea of Faulk in that trade, but the pick has to be conditional, have one going either way based on the condition of resigning or something, a straight up 2nd and Faulk is way too much if he walks.

That Toronto trade is smart, Riemer is a fan....well one fans favourite.... not naming any names.... although I think getting Bracco back is overly optimistic.

I also really like the Brodin trade. That was really smart. Although I do think Pesce will end up playing at 2LD.

All in all, good job
