Ducks have no need for a goalie, Andersson or the second being compensation for smith (would cost a first though imo) why are we giving up potentially our best offensive player for this bad of a package when we need goals

Well you may want to give Gibson a night off every now and then so Georgiev seems like a solid pickup. I wouldn't be so quick to declare Andersson a bust either. He's only 20 year old with lots of runway left for him to develop. Kase is a good player but I could see the Ducks doing this as apart of their rebuilding effort

We have stolarz at the moment and giving up Kase isn’t worth a back up that won’t surpass Gibson, and referring to you previous comment, never said Andersson was a bust, he is just viewed as part of the compensation for taking smith, this package doesn’t come close to making the ducks better now, or in the future

I rather have Georgiev over Stolarz (who'll likely be on waivers soon enough) or Miller if I'm looking for long term success. No one likes Brendan Smith but I think Andersson is more than enough to cover the cost of carrying a dead cap hit for 2 years where Anaheim has no intention of winning.

Never said I would rather have stolarz, but georgeiv isnt enough of an upgrade over our 3rd goalie, to get rid of Kase with a second, not even close, Kase is a building block and this trade makes the ducks future worse not better
