Ive always liked what Jarmo has done, its just sucks that Columbus isnt that desirable of a location for players.

Is Yzerman not a bit overrated as a GM?

-Has handed out some questionable contracts that are sure to be painful soon if they aren't already
-Handed out NMC'S and trade protection clauses like they're candy
-Built a solid team but all quite similar players, doesn't seem like the right mix and not built for the playoff grind
-Had a state tax advantage
-Most importantly he never got that team over the top to capture a cup

I can't deny that team is a powerhouse that'll be one of the best again but it also looks like the exact same team that can't get it done.

So far I'm not impressed with his time in Detroit, he hasn't been there long though I know.

Idk, he's good but I'm not convinced he's as good a GM as so many think he is.
