Personally I like Gardiner. Yes he has some brain farts but he is skilled and plays with heart. Never requested a trade stayed loyal to the leafs even though he was constantly scapegoated.

But... it’s just not going to work or fit. If gardiner could play the right I have no doubt he would be signed already. Wish him the best but it’s not in the cards.
