His agent and father want that amount, daddy needs a mansion and the agent wants to buy a new cabin by the lake. Mitch just wants to live his dream, Ferris might be getting fired real soon.

These are all very reasonable overpays. Marner’s value has certainly been inflated and I don’t think you are far off from dubas’ bottom lines.

I will mention one more thing, marner probably wants his money upfront invest. The only way a large salary in the final year benefits him is if it is a bridge deal.
