We’ll know in 3-4 years but if Nylander never puts 30+ points, Chicago lost the trade

Its more of a long-term question. Nylander would be in NHL and likely be somehow good. Id expect 30-40 points, but the main thing is how good will Jokiharju be long-term. And I expect him to be at least a top-4 Dman who is good both defensively and offensively and has tools to be effective in all situations. Not the highest point totals for him but 30-40 points each year would be a sure thing imo.

We will see if Nylander would utilize all his tools but I doubt it.

High potential RHD carry a crap tone of value, the way Joker played last year at worlds and juniors, Nylander has a really high pedigree to reach. Dahlin - Joker is going to be one of the strongest defensive pairs in the league in a couple years with Maker - Byram being the only other close comparable

It’s a trade that we won’t see who won in 2-3 years, but in my opinion jokiharju is much better and worth more then nylander, besides all the d-men prospects we got, we could have gave up krys or Mitchell or not even those guys, not and elite prospect for a damn bust, but who knows elite talent is in nylanders family and it worked with Dylan strome so who knows. I’d be surprised if nylander gets 35+ points this year.

He'd have to do the Strome thing. 45-50 points and obvious chemistry with someone else on the team to get us excited about what he can be going forward. And Jokiharju would have to totally suck wherever he ends up, which I doubt happens

I agree with all the comments here. It's an up hill battle for Nylander. He'd have to absolutely crush it...AND...then not pull a William Nylander. Stan's bringing his career out of the graveyard.
