Obviously depends on what kind of year he has but assuming he doesn't bomb probably around $8M maybe more.

north of $8/mil I'd guess. If Bob can get $10/season not having won a cup.....Murray should easily be over $8mil even with some injury issues.

I wonder if there will be a market correction coming for goalies. Spending that much on a goalie doesn't seem to be a smart move. There are very few cup winning goalies who made top dollar on their team. I am not sure I'd stomach more than paying 6.5 for a starter. I think Florida is going to find that Bob's success was partly due to the system he played in. Goalies are so funny, in the right system, any NHL calibre goalie can elite it seems. Dubnyk went from being a washout to Vezina finalist when he found a system that worked for his strengths. Elsewhere he was trash.

I don't think Murray is anything like Dubnyk, he's much better but I'd be hoping he'd be good with a 4 year 6.5 million dollar contract. That would be a fair and good term and cap hit for the team and Murray. If he gets big money that is really cool too. He's a great guy and comes from a great family, THUNDER BAY PROUD!

I am thinking either 2x6 or 8x8.5. 2x6 as he has had some issues and its a higher level semi bridge. 8x8.5 If this year looks good and we lock him down forever.

Don’t think he gets a huge one. Doesn’t have amazing stats and can’t stay healthy

He was like 12th in sv% for starters, and had 0.98 GSAA, and a middle of the road HDsv%, so he's a slightly above average starter so I'd estimate about 6, depends on term though
