What the heck is this based on? It just seems like you've plucked numbers, and term, out of mid-air.

pretty solid. i think miko gets more, and signs for 8 years, shocked if Provorov gets that much, conner and werenski are lower than i think they will get, Marner for 3 years i hope gets less than that. sadly might be accurate.

Damn I wish I could randomly guess AAv's and term on contracts out of the blue with nothing but my brain.

If Point signs that deal, Marner's entire negotiation is blown to bits. Point is the better player and if he takes an 8 year deal, Dubas can say, "Thats the market we now live in, you aren't getting more than 10 million, and if you want that much, its for 7 years minimum."

Ferris is definitely going to lose this negotiation unless he takes one of the offers on the table today. My guess is Point or Rantanen set the market and then Ferris is going to be left out in the cold.

CGY says yes to the Tkachuk 8-year deal.

But it seems highly unlikely that Mangiapane would sign for more than Labanc ($1M AAV). I'm expecting Treliving to work that down to $1M even or less.

Value? What do you mean. You have McAvoy at $8,5M but Carlo at $4M, it just doesn't work.

How could it be mid-air when the contracts are relatively close to either asking value or team ask? I tried to combine knowledge of the player's ask with the team's ask to make some sort of close evaluation of what these players could get. Yeah, it is a guess to a large extent, but there's basis to every one of these guesses.

Carlo is on a bridge deal, where as McAvoy is on a 6 year contract.

What do you guys think about White's deal in OTT and how it effects the RFA market? 4.75 AAV for 6 years for a guy who's played less than 100 games and has 16 goals and 47 points?

Sundqvist and Barbashev got about the same deployment and put up very similar seasons. Sunny got 4 x 2.75 and the Blues bought 2 UFA years. Why would Barbashev be deserving of 4 x 3.25 for all RFA years?
