Why?

Ser, Joseph Cirelli need new deals and Vasilevskiys kicks in next year. this clears cap while also being a good team

If Gourde and shrimps with NTCs dont accept any trade .. send then to Russian front .. Syracuse .. this isn't some liberal arts college tenure professor BS .. I could care what contract says .. ship the out or make their life hell .. best players play .. period ..

Noesen and McGinn wouldn't be necessary. Fill those 2 spots with rookies and save 500k more in cap space for next summer.

Also: do you guys think it'd be plausible for the Bolts to get a 4th rounder in return from Domingue?

Fair enough, but I'd have older guys fill those spots just due experience!

and no sadly, the Goalie market is solid for once, I also think Doningue stats are inflated due to playing behind the power house that was tampa last year

While I do think sending people to Syracuse could be something we might have to consider, it's worth noting that there's no guarantee that they get claimed. If they don't get claimed, we barely save any cap space. If I were a GM with cap space and a top-six winger was free, I would take it without hesitation, but it's possible that (especially if Palat continues his rapid regression) nobody takes any of them because they assume that we would then be forced to give up better players or pay them a ransom in a trade. And that's a huge risk, because the second we do that, we lose any hope of getting discounts in exchange for NTCs. The J.T. Miller trade was one thing because his NTC hadn't started yet, but doing that and sending waiving someone with an NTC in effect is a clear indication that we are more than willing to find ways to get rid of players we no longer want, regardless of contract clauses. Palat is really the only player I see as a realistic candidate for waivers, if he doesn't get any better this year. Waiving Gourde or Johnson would simply be poor asset management, especially since either of those players would be good for Seattle to take in the expansion draft, so that should be an absolute last resort only.

Too long walt whitman . Seriously take hint in life .. no one will listen to you fully if you bore the crap out of them .. average person reads less than 50 words and usually only first and last line of beginning and ending paragraphs.. better keeping though to 5 sentences max .. your welcome
