I think the fact that beauvillier hasn’t been signed means that he could possibly be involved in a trade. I would trade mayfield and beauvilier for a top 6 F and go into the season with pelech-pulock, toews-dobson, leddy-boychuk. Hickey 7D , aho 1st call up (he can play both sides)

Then how about Pearson, Jasek, and a 2021 third for Mayfield and Bellows? I know Pearson isn't quite a top 6 forward, but he is a reliable middle 6 guy and a young 20 goal scorer

The value is there, it just makes no sense for the islanders - they are looking for a legitimate top 6 forward who can play on a line with barzal.

Pearson may be able to do it, he did do wonders with Horvat on the second line last year and he always has been a consistent 35-40 point guy plus he's in his prime now. At least he can definitely play on the second line with Nelson

Islanders are more interested in acquiring guys like ehlers, zucker, Tatar, hoffman. Players who can definitely put up 25 goals 50 pts this season. There’s not much difference in value between beauvillier and Pearson.
