Description

Is that a fair return if you were to trade Marner? I know it doesn't have the "star" names, but Pulock is IMO a top pairing D, Mayfield is a great option for the bottom pair and on a great contract. Beauvillier could put up big numbers playing with Tavares/Matthews

1st and 2nd as sweeteners as an offer sheet for Marner would likely net Toronto 4 firsts...

This team likely can bring back almost everyone next year...

As soon as I published this I went back and thought the same thing too... I'd probably do Pulock, Dobson, Beauvillier and a 1st/2nd realistically

I could live with that

however, I would love to get Wilde ( I really like this kid I think he's gonna be great) in the trade as well... Maybe add Bracco + a pick?

Don't think the Isles trade three NHL regulars and more Marner. And don't you just hate these posts where no indication of Marner's contract because Isles certainly aren't trading for an unknown contract.

Why would the Leafs trade Ceci when they have cap space?

From an Isles perspective, I'd rather give up 4 late round 1sts than trade for Marner if Pulock or Dobson (let alone BOTH as someone on here suggested) are involved. Those two guys, along with Barzal are about as untouchable as you can get in the Isles system.... meaning any mention of their names in trade talks and Lou hangs up.
