Forbort has worse advanced stats than JJ. Even when factoring in being on a bad team the guy doesnt really carry much value

Yeah it’s basically a swap for the difference in contract years. It’s a risk you make in hopes that Forbort comes in and plays like he has a pulse and if it flops it’s only for one season.
