I feel like a deal like this with no other moves is exactly what will happen. I also agree with the lineup except that Boo, McKegg and Smith will all be sent down to the AHL (which will give the Rangers a little over $1mm in extra cap space wiggle room). This roster should be about a .500 team and fringe wild card team if everything goes right simply because there are a LOT of kids that need to adjust to the show. Next year is when we see a massive leap to playoff contender status....

I mean you cant carry a roster of 20 players... McKegg also has to pass waivers. So you will probably see them carry a roster of "23" where they send the waiver exempt kids up and down on paper to bank some cap space.
