If that deal was ever to take place, Kane would need to go to Edmonton. You can not give up the offence McDavid creates without getting some of it back. Plus there is a wide disparity with the cap. Chicago would be taking on additional $4.5+ M. What I think would be fair, McDavid for Kane, Boqvist, Strome & picks.

Given what McDavid and Kane have done for their clubs, I suspect this “deal” could incite riots in both cities.
