If Colorado was to make a big trade I assume it would for D and they wouldn't do by trading one of the best D prospects in the league.

Could you imagine marner either not signing with he avs cause he wants double digits or signing 10-12 or the avs having Rant at 9-10, Marner at 10-12 and than the headaches in 2 years. Marner is honestly just a headache for any major teams, teams with cap space will have a better time trading for him (I know the avs do but any marner contract 2/3+ years will ruin them if he’s at 10-12
