I shudder to think of what the Panthers forward ranks would looks like this season with those 2 still on board.

Good value for the team a guy who could slot in as high as their third line this season, and good for the player getting the one year, one way deal that takes him to arbitration eligibility.

Florida couldn't have kept them with that cap hit anyway and yeah Petrovic was overrated but atleast he had a good contract

I'd much rather overpay for a star than pay minimum salary to a replacement level player.
