Description
Desmith would have to move next year and Rask if you could but that's unlikely, but this looks like a scary deep team if it were only possible. Just got to call in a favour with our old buddy in minny

I think this team would be a Stanley cup contender

You wish that you could give Puljujarvi a 3 year contract?

You wish that you could bring in Rask and his $4Mx3 contract?

So you're essentially saying Hornqvist (good but old and expensive), Bjugstad (3rd liner), and 1st+3rd+7th equals Zucker (top line scorer), Staal (good middle 6 center), and Brodin (top 3 defensemen)? No way in hell MIN does that unless they have blackmail on Guerin.

I think pitt would be willing to add that for two more years of contention.

Hornqvist > Zucker

(not a comment on the trade overall, but a comment on those two players only)

If there is talk about another 1st, then Rask is out.

Offensively they are nearly the same. Cap is nearly the same.

Hornqvist does A LOT more away from the puck. Zucker is younger.

Hornqvist is a team favorite. The Wild have been trying to trade Zucker for a year with no takers.

I'd rather have Hornqvist.

MAYBE prime Hornqvist is better than Zucker but in 2019 Zucker is the clear favorite.

no

Actually, not sure if you mean 18-19, or 19-20, but no. 18-19 Hornqvist was having a bad year with injuries... and was still better than Zucker with or without the puck. 19-20 will be the same. The "better" part, not the injuries part. Well, maybe even the injuries part, but the comment still stands.

Hornqvist has injury every season though and he isn't getting any younger. Think his 37 points will be the usual every season for now. Zucker and Hornqvist had almost similar offensive and defensive analytics last season. Zucker is 5 years younger. I'm taking Zucker every day of the week.
