Description
I know he just signed in Finland but he has an NHL out if he gets traded to a new team which I think if he heard he got traded to Pittsburgh he'd be here within the day. He also said he'll sign for almost anything.

Well the Kessel trade being bad is your opinion but from what the Penguins media has been saying Kessel and Sullivan had reached the end of the line. You're never going to get fair value for a guy who's seen as a locker room headache, is 32 years old, and is perceived to have his stats inflated by playing with Malkin. This was a locker room trade. Anytime you have a guy who isn't all in for any reason there's going to be a problem. For a while Phil worked out because he wanted to win a stanley cup, it was one of the main reasons why he came here. Well now he's won two stanley cups and I don't think he cares as much about doing the little things needed to win as much as he did in 2016. Obviously Phil wants to win but he doesn't want to win as much as he did when he first came here and I can't blame him. I think by bringing in young guys like Chucky, Mccann, and Bjugstad who were seen as busts and have a chip on their shoulder to win was a good move by Rutherford

Back to my original point. Kessel > poj and chuck. Penguins got the best return they could but it’s still no what a kessel caliber player would get normally

Zucker all day bc he helps them win now not later
