Domi is a non starter
his value may be exactly that
but his value to MTL is much more then that .
his numbers for his first real year as a Center are impressive when you look at the volume of draws and the points he scored.

Danault we'd be open to exploring in a trade because Domi turned out to handle the Center role pretty well.
with Poehling , Kotkanemi and Thompson here we can afford to move Danault if we get a player like Wennberg or Bennet back in the deal .
Bennet beside Kotkanemi -Armia create's a posession line with Size , Skill and a grit physical edge .
Wennberg would be ideal LW to play besides Poehling and Caufield in the future

Danault can land those players plus a pick because he's seen as an upgrade for 2 teams who need a bulk faceoff Center right now .

Domi was productive even with arizona. He finish 2nd and 2 time 3rd in scoring ( finished with 38 point in 59 games one behind Ekman-Larsson in 2nd position in 16-17). Domi played for a horrible coyotes team, its players simetiere. I don’t see any reason why domi couldn’t reach 65 point against this year. And Montreal powerplay will be better that for sure
It’s was mediocre last year he only put up 11 of his 72 point on powerplay. So even if he score 45 point on even strength should around 20 on the power play so 65 its very realistic. Phil kessel will get a major drop this year since arizona powerplay isn’t Pittsburgh he will realize soon.

Don’t bother with him. Domi add 61 point even strengh and just 11 point on powerplay so even if he regress a little bit 5 on 5 he will get around 20 powerplay point for sure. Habs can’t be worst than last year

even when he struggled in CBJ he stood out for Sweden in the WC in May with 10 points in 6 games so he's capable of playing at higher levels when placed with a forward who is offensively gifted as his and Nylanders line lead team Sweden with a combined 28 points in 14 games between them

placing Wennberg with a Center like Domi and down the road a pure Goal Scorer like Caufield.

Wennberg has value because he's still under 25 years old who when playing for his Country always steps up showing his consistency is being influenced by a problem stemming from CBJ system . Torterella's style is good for a lot of players but players like Wennberg signed a deal that raised the expectations and he didnt live up to them thus far which will only make Tort's more of a Passive Aggressive Dick over time .
