The trade values here aren’t bad besides Dell. He prob only gets a 6th or a 7th if anything

why would you trade Sorensen, he's a solid 30 point player making half of what he should be

Ah typical sharks. Say they are going all in, trade for offense when in reality it’s their defense that needs help

Hes just too expensive for a fourth line role. We cant afford to pay him that when we cant provide him the sheltered thornton minutes he needs to be good

Why would they care? Hes a UFA and they arent challenging for the playoffs anytime within the next 3-4 years anyways

Want to guess how many times the Kings and Sharks have been trade partners since the Sharks entered the league? Exactly one time on draft day in 2008, and all they did was swap picks in middle rounds.

Kings and Ducks? Also exactly once, and also in 2008. I hesitate to call it a trade because the Ducks GAVE Sean O'Donnell to the Kings for a conditional draft pick in which the condition was not met.

The Kings don't trade players to their division rivals, even when they're terrible.

The league is changing my friend. Look at calgary and edmonton. LA and the sharks havent had the rivalry for a few years now that vegas is in the spotlight

I'll believe it when I see it. I mean if San Jose is willing to significantly overpay for him, then I'm sure the Kings would be happy to take San Jose's assets of their hands. However, the Kings would be willing to take less of a return from an Eastern Conference team as long as it meant not sending Toffoli to a division rival.

Sorenson is a tweener 4th-3rd liner making probably a little more than he should. The only reason he scored as much as he did last year because he was up against weak competition. He was also on Jumbo's line who had two top 6 offensive forwards on it. Gotta give something to get something and no reason to keep a replacement level player if its necessary to keep the trade. He's only slightly better than Marleau at this point defensively, but Sorenson certainly isnt worth it if he falls off the cliff like he did this last season at game 65. Averaging around 12-13 min a night shouldnt be over taxing for a pro athlete.
