I posted this same argument in another one of these threads, but think about it this way:
Top 50 at each position for forwards means 1st/2nd line players, 31 teams x 2 lines per team x = 62 players per position, you are listing 50. You're listing players at as low as 79 overall on these lists. There's a big difference between a second line caliber player and a fourth line caliber player, so if you are listing second liners at <80, what are your fourth liners going to be ranked. Usually the fourth liners aren't any lower than 75. Usually fourth liners are more like 78. The higher end players are usually around 87. Is there really a bigger difference between a borderline all star and a good second liner then there is between that good second liner and a 11th/12th forward?
I don't like the second line players being that low rated.
