The one thing Puljujarvi and his agent have stressed over and over again is that he wants a chance playing in the top 6 for a team. He won't even crack the top 9 in Tampa. Not the best fit

True. I’m just going off of what Elliot Freedman said. He said that Tampa or Carolina are his most likely destinations at this point.

It actually isn't true. Stamkos is missing a winger to play high end hockey with since Cooper moved Kucherov alongside Point.
Would definitely like to see a line of Gourde/Joseph - Pool Party - Stammer

Also: Puljujarvi and his agent have no say in who the Oilers can trade with. He asked for a trade, if he gets one he should definitely know he has to work his way up from the bottom, as he's showed nothing that grants him a top six spot in the NHL anywhere so far

Oh I completely agree. I think Puljujarvi is delusional if he thinks he'll be gifted a top 6 position.

But Puljujarvi isn't a high end player. I'd rather play Palat or even Killhorn there. I'm an Oilers fan, and Puljujarvi has had opportunities with McDavid, with Draisaitl, and Nuge. He didn't cut it. Playing with Stammer isn't going to turn him into a legit top 6 winger

Ehhhhhh..! Palat has been a dead weight all season and really look like the ghost of his true self.
And only thinking about Killorn on the top six gives me ptsd lol

I'd still rather have either of them in the top 6 than Puljujarvi

Fair enough. Wish we could make a trade happen then! I'd gladly give him up with a 3rd rounder for Palat with 500k retained.

I'd jump on a trade like that almost instantly if it wasn't for the cap retention, also because it would free us around 3.8 M cap space (as I'd think Pool Party doesn't get a deal over 1M with us).
I probably would try to persuade you into taking the full cap hit for an additional 2021 5th rounder, or at least lower it to 300k. wink

I`d like to see Puljujarvi in Carolina making the line with Aho & Teravainen.
